A pieptar, the sleeveless man's waistcoat, lined with lamb fur and closed under a smooth leather placket with metal buttons set into it.
The photographs show two pieptare from the workshop. One is in dark brown nubuck, with ivory cross-stitch bands down both fronts, along the hem and across the patch pockets. The other is in slate-blue leather, with no embroidery, angled welt pockets, darker leather facings and contrast topstitching.
The geometric pattern is embroidered, not printed, so you can feel it under a finger. Every edge is bound with a thin strip of leather, which holds the outline and protects the cut.
This piece is made from Nubuck leather, Natural leather, Lamb fur.
The exact materials and origin are confirmed at the collection launch.
- Wipe smooth leather with a soft, dry cloth; nubuck is brushed, never fed with cream.
- Keep the piece away from prolonged rain and from direct heat sources.
- Air the fur on the inside; cleaning it is workshop work.
